These terms govern your use of Customs Value Builder (https://customs-value.shipcostlab.com), a free informational calculator. There are no user accounts, no registration, no subscriptions and no paid features on this site.

Nature of the service

The site computes an indicative dutiable customs value under the Agreement on Implementation of Article VII GATT 1994 (Method 1 — Transaction Value, with Article 8 adjustments) and explains the Methods 2–6 fallback hierarchy. Every output is an estimate, not a binding ruling. It does not certify customs declarations and does not constitute legal, tax or customs-brokerage advice. For declarations with legal or financial consequences, consult a licensed customs broker or lawyer.

Acceptable use

You agree to use the site lawfully, not to disrupt or reverse engineer its operation, and not to misrepresent its outputs as official determinations of any customs authority.
